Evaluating the Performance of Full-Duplex Energy Harvesting Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication System over Double Rayleigh Fading Channels

In this paper, we analyze the performance of vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication system, which employs full-duplex (FD) and energy harvesting (EH) techniques at source relay nodes from power beacon (PB) through radio frequency. Unlike previous systemswhere all located fixed locations, investigate case that three (source, relay,and destination) are moving vehicles. Therefore, channels between them follow double (cascade) Rayleigh fading distributions. Furthermore, can harvest PB for data transmission when they move on road. We derive exact expressions outage probability (OP) symbol error (SEP) proposed system then intensively study impacts various parameters such as number antennas PB, time duration EH, distances nodes, residual self-interference (RSI) FD node performance. Monte-Carlo simulations validate theory analysis. Numerical results show is strongly impacted by beacon, EH duration, RSI, nodes.
